Atec is looking to add an additional Space Systems Technician to the Team. Atec is an Aerospace Manufacturing company located in Stafford, Texas.

Summary

****Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, products, and mechanical devices and equipment for all space related parts.

Duties

Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.

Read work orders, follow production drawing and sample assemblies, or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.

Perform precision, spaceflight critical, assembly on spaceflight components.

Perform precision, spaceflight critical test operations on spaceflight components.

Assist engineering in developing assembly procedures, processes and specifications.

Assist engineering in developing test procedures, processes and systems.

Crimp, stake, screw, bolt, rivet, solder, press fit, or perform similar operations to join or secure parts in place.

Preferred

**Experience working in a class 10,000 clean room

**Experience working with space flight parts
