    ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Assist corporate recruiter as needed with recruiting process. Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals. Investigate accidents and prepare reports for insurance carrier. Conduct wage surveys within labor market to determine competitive wage rate. Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation. Conduct exit interviews. Prepare reports and recommend procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover. Represent organization at personnel related hearings and investigations. Contract with outside suppliers to provide employee services. Keep records of hired employee characteristics for governmental reporting purposes. Assist with Affirmative Action Plan and other government required reporting. Become a member of the morale/outreach committee. Assist with pre-employment tests to applicants. Assist training coordinator with training duties, if needed. Coordinate, with the help of the training coordinator, end of year review process. Conduct 30, 60, and 90-day reviews with employee and manager. Assist in employee relations events. Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Assume supervision responsibilities in Manager's absence. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Atec policies and applicable laws. Monitor personnel to ensure activities are conducted in accordance with Atec ISO policies, and correct and report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor. Assist in hire process: interview, hire, and orient employees. Appraise performance, reward, and discipline employee. Represent Atec or President/Chairman's office at functions, events for Human Resources/Public Relations/other.

    AS9100/ISO SPECIFIC DUTIES Be familiar with and understand Atec Quality Policy and company objectives. Understand required AS9100/ISO specific Procedures and Work Instructions. Complete all records required by Procedures and Work Instructions. Participate in Atec Continuous Improvement activities as appropriate (including Strategic Planning, AIM, Suggestion box, etc.). Participate in AS9100/ISO training as required. Cooperate with Auditors. Report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or a minimum three (3) years related experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience.

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Professional Human Resources Certification or Society Professional Human Resources Certification preferred
