SUMMARY

Prepare clear, complete and accurate working plans and detail drawings from rough or detailed sketches or notes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Other duties may be assigned.

·     Make final sketch of proposed drawing, checking dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to whole structure or project.

·        Utilize knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings.

·        Make any adjustments or changes on pencil drawings as required.

·        Draw charts for representation of statistical data.

·        Draw finished designs from sketches.

·        Use Computer Assisted Drawing (CAD) equipment and software.

·         Travel to Atec Inc. subsidiaries and or project sites may be required

Ensure activities are conducted in accordance with Atec International Standard Organization (AS9100/ISO) policies and correct and report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor. 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

AS9100/ISO SPECIFIC DUTIES

Be familiar with and understand Atec Quality Policy and company objectives.      

Understand required AS9100/ISO specific Procedures and Work Instructions.

Complete all records required by Procedures and Work Instructions.

Participate in Atec Improvement Machine (AIM) as appropriate.

Participate in AS9100/ISO training as required.

Cooperate with Auditors.

Report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Associate degree (AA) from two-year college or technical school; or 2 years related experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience.

Must be familiar with ANSI, Mil-Std, and Atec internal standards.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Employee is frequently required to stand, sit, walk, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. 

Employee must have good eyesight, by lenses if necessary.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. 

Extended work hours may occasionally be required
