Specialized is seeking a motivated and talented Salesforce CRM Developer to join our S-Digital team in Morgan Hill, CA. In this role you will be reporting to the Technical Program Manager on the S-Digital team and will be part of the core team responsible for designing, building and maintaining the Salesforce platform and related technologies. The role will be focused on developing new features, creating new automations and simplifying the existing CRM instance. To be successful in this role you must be comfortable wearing many hats and learning on the job! CRM development experience and strong communication skills are also a must. You will have the opportunity to be exposed to a wide variety of best-of-class technologies and help accelerate the growth of our CRM platform. 

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Technical teams to design solutions within the Salesforce platform and ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing and deployment
• Configure, customize and program with APEX APIs, APEX Triggers, and implement new features
• Analyze functional and non-functional requirements to create technical designs, data models and data migration strategies
• Establish and maintain productive and respectful relationships with other internal business and technology teams.
• Validate requirement compliance from solution deliverables.
•  Contribute to documentation of new features, customized implementations and existing features
• Analyze and evaluate existing or proposed business systems and processes and implement improvements and opportunities to meet business unit objectives in large to enterprise wide processes.

WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN:

• Experience with agile methodologies within JIRA and Confluence

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills; technical writing experience is a plus.

• Experience with Imperative development (Apex, VisualForce, JavaScript/Lightning Components) and Declarative development (Process Builders, Lighting Flows, Workflows, Approvals)

• Confidence in debugging and working with complex implementations involving features like asynchronous processing on Salesforce

• Experience with SOQL, SOSL, JSON, XML, and HTML, REST and SOAP APIs & Single Sign-on (oAuth, OpenID, Identity Connect)

• 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer for a high growth technology company

• Strong self-initiative, interpersonal skills, and the flexibility to quickly synthesize new ideas and concepts.

• Good knowledge of enterprise integration architectures such as SOA, RESTful, ETL
