Position – Staff Accountant

Reports to – Controller

Overall Job Description – Accountant responsible for accounting for international business including general ledger processing, financial statement presentation, VAT tax reporting and local income tax returns and for the consolidation and preparation of consolidated financial statements.

Specific tasks

· Review transaction processing for BV

· Preparation of BV & LTD (international subsidiaries) journal entries and reconciliation of accounts

· Accumulation of data for BV and LTD income and VAT tax returns

· Consolidation of the operating businesses including preparation of journal entries and drafting of the financial statements

· Preparation of the quarterly Disc trial balance including supporting worksheets / computations

· Processing domestic sales tax data including return reconcilement and interface with the sales team

· Other projects as requested by the Controller or VP finance

· Work closely with other members of the department

Skill requirements

· Minimum of at least 3 years of general accounting experience including international experience; accounting or business degree preferable

· Excellent debit and credit skills

· High proficiency with NAV and Microsoft office application

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
