Athena is looking for a senior data analyst to join its growing team. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience and will be seeking an opportunity to add value by analyzing and reporting on metrics from a variety of data sources, enhancing data sets and creating and maintaining new datasets for clients. You will be responsible for taking a lead role on creating and maintaining comprehensive, executive level reports, as well as presenting findings to clients. This role will also support our social listening and strategy operations.

REQUIREMENTS

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE EXPECTED TO:

• Identify required data sets and work with clients to receive and interpret data
• Interpret data, determine trends, and come to new conclusions based on the findings
• Work with large amounts of data, facts, and figures
• Combine disparate data sets and provide meaningful reports
• Conduct research and integrate findings into databases and reporting
• Present findings and translate the data into an understandable document, easily communicating complex ideas
• Conduct all activities, including producing final presentations, with a high attention to detail
• Meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Multi-task on projects and initiatives
• Contribute to reaching organizational goals by being flexible and working in a team environment

AND SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• Knowledge of relational database principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to simplify and clearly communicate complex ideas
• Highly organized and strong attention to detail
• Expert in Microsoft Excel
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Tableau or other data visualization knowledge (preferred)
• Experience with social media monitoring and metrics (preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in business analytics, business administration, or a related field
• 2-3 years of professional experience as a data analyst
