  • Responsibilities

    Athletes First is currently seeking an organized and detail-oriented Travel and Reservations Coordinator to add to our Client Relations Department.

    Responsibilities:

    • Support Client Relations Department with client travel requests and bookings, including, but not limited to airfare, car services, rental cars and accommodations

    • Confirm all information before booking to ensure accuracy (including the spelling of each traveler's names and the dates/times of travel)

    • Organize confirmed travel and send finalized itineraries prior to departure

    • Serve as liaison between staff and outside travel agencies/concierge groups as necessary

    • Manage system for travel credits/reimbursements

    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with hotels, major rental property groups, car service providers, restaurants, etc.

    • Book and manage reservation requests for restaurants, clubs, golf, etc.

    • Provide support for any trip-related issues

    • Maintain and update rolodex of industry contacts

    • Multi-task to ensure that every matter is addressed timely and appropriately, always meeting deadlines, and taking the initiative to learn, practice and expand skills, all while attaining the client's objectives

    • Proactively offer best options based on individual needs and requirements

    • Demonstrate patience, empathy, understanding in all client interactions

    • Work and adapt in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment

    Requirements:

    • General understanding of both domestic and international travel, including fares and pricing, available resources, and travel documentation requirements
    • Passion for serving people
    • Capable of maintaining a professional demeanor in stressful situations
    • Exceptional communication skills
    • Exceptional organizational skills
    • Exceptional attention to detail
    • Background in travel and/or hospitality
    • Nights and/or weekend availability (as needed)
    • High school diploma required
    • Ability to work in Laguna Hills, CA office
