If you are the least bit interested in applying for this position, check out this special video we made for you (copy and paste if needed): https://youtu.be/2tXQBejmP3E?feature=shared Responsibilities: • Contributes to physical therapists' effectiveness by identifying patient care issues; providing information and commentary; recommending options and courses of action; and implementing physical therapy directives. • Assesses patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, obtaining, updating, and studying therapy histories. • Assesses abnormal conditions by reviewing the physical therapist's interpretations of patient evaluations and test results. • Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records. • Performs therapeutic procedures by administering manual therapy and exercises. • Instructs and counsels patients by describing therapeutic regimens; giving normal growth and development information; promoting wellness and health maintenance. • Provides continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans. • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. • Maintains production objectives by noting current treatment trends; monitoring actual physical therapy services rendered to production objectives. • Maintains legal and accreditation compliance by adhering to policy positions concerning federal, state, and local regulations; anticipating emerging issues. • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations. • Driving/Workshop Presentations/Marketing (occasionally) as needed • Enhances physical therapy and clinics' reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. • Tasks created by management. Qualifications: • Experience in athletic training or a related field, with a focus on manual therapy. • Ability to assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations. • Proven track record of implementing effective patient management plans. • Strong skills in documenting patient care services accurately and efficiently. • Ability to maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to regulations. • Experience in instructing and counseling patients on therapeutic regimens and wellness. • Commitment to continuous learning by participating in educational opportunities and professional organizations. Compensation: $65,000 - $100,000 yearly
