    Job Summary

    Pleasant Hill Academy, INC is seeking a passionate and mission-minded Athletics Director who will oversee and lead all aspects of the school’s athletic programs. The ideal candidate will be a spiritually grounded leader who values both physical education and character formation. This role requires a dedicated professional who is capable of inspiring students, managing athletic staff, and promoting sportsmanship and integrity on and off the field.

    You have a background in sports and are passionate about helping student-athletes reach their potential. With a talent for building communication, skill, and motivation in student teams, you are able to provide effective group and individual instruction to create exceptional experiences to help students grow.

    Responsibilities:

    Plan, organize, and conduct practices

    Provide training direction, encouragement, motivation, and nutritional advice to prepare athletes for games and competitive events

    Adjust coaching techniques based on individual athletes

    Instruct individuals or groups in rules, strategies, and performance principles

    Use data-driven instruction in the teaching/learning process

    Build an engaging and safe environment for all student-athletes

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in Education(or currently acquiring degree) or related field (preferred but not required )

    Valid teaching certification (preferred but not required).

    Successful coaching or teacher leadership experience preferred

    Strong classroom management and communication skills.

    A committed Christian with a demonstrated alignment with the school's mission and values.

    Passionate about Christian education and student discipleship.

    Exemplary presentation and facilitation skills

    Background in sports (athletics, fitness, physical education, etc.)
