Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team! As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the restaurant’s operational performance and financial well-being. You will hire, train, and lead staff, ensuring they reflect the restaurant’s high standards. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience managing a successful restaurant.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Able to learn all aspects of the retail/restaurant fish business
Hire, train, and manage employees and conduct daily 5 minutes pre-shift meetings
Lead team in providing exceptional customer service
Maintain a food and beverage budget
Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations
Hold all kitchen staff, Sushi staff, and restaurant staff to all policies and procedures.
Able to lift Minium of 25 lbs.
Available to work nights, weekends and holidays
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED
Previous restaurant management experience
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, restaurant management software, and POS software
Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
Excellent management and leadership skills
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
