Atlantic Staffing Consultants is assisting a local, family-owned business seeking an experienced Millwork Finisher/Assembler to join their team. This position is Temporary for 3-4 months to fill in for an employee who is out on leave.  It could turn into a permanent position for the right person! It will require team members to work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday with some flexibility in start times.

Duties of the Millwork Finisher:

• Assembles material building components and millwork products.
• Make collar boxes.
• Round over column edges.
• Route profiles.
• Help with other facets of Finishing.
• Plans and implements the assembly process by reading and understanding set-up sheets, work orders, drawings, or blueprints as well as a tape measure. 
• Gather materials and tools necessary to complete orders.
• Ensures that assembled items meet specific quality specifications.
• Plans and paces own work efficiency to meet daily, weekly, project, or team-related production goals.
• Understands and responds well to supervision and training from senior team members and management.
• Observe and follow all safety procedures required.
• Any other duties as required by management. This list is not meant to be inclusive of all job responsibilities.

Requirements of the Millwork Finisher:

• Knowledge of and ability to use various hand and power tools to assemble products.
• Manual dexterity.
• Candidates must have at least one year of carpentry experience. More experienced candidates will be preferred.
• A candidate with knowledge of CNC operations is a plus.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the work shift.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure.
• Ability to read shop drawings and blueprints.
• Ability and willingness to learn.
• Ability to be on time.

Job Information for the Millwork Finisher:

• Pay: $16.00 - $18.00+ per hour Depending On Experience.
• Work inside a climate-controlled environment.
• Weekly pay.
