Local floating dock manufacturing and installation company is looking for a Carpenter/Dock Builder.

Weekly Pay
Full-Time

Requirements of the Dock Builder:
*Reading, writing, and math skills required
*Read a regular Tape Measure - not a cheater tape
*Candidates must be able to read a tape measure and pass a pre-employment Tape Measure & Counting Test - Must score 100% (count from 0-1 in 1/8ths & 1/16ths)

Responsibilities of the Dock Builder:

• Work in a partially outdoor work environment.
• Use tools such as hammers, hand drills, drill presses, and impact drills.
• Training & testing on tools and machines used will be provided. Previous experience is required.
• Sweep and perform other clean-up duties.
• Move heavy materials periodically.
• Stack lumber.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and outside weather conditions.
• The employee will be exposed to extreme cold or extreme heat semi-regularly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements of the Dock Builder:

• Steel Toed Boots required. The employee must provide their own.
• Must be able to follow instructions from supervisors. Must listen and be respectful.

• Great attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and hard-working.
• Dependable transportation.
• Great attendance and punctuality.
• May have to stand for long periods.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.

Carpentry, Roofing, Construction, or Trim & Remodeling experience will be a benefit in this environment.

The ideal candidate will possess their own steel toe boots and maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.

Hours & Pay of a Dock Builder:
Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:15 PM
Lunch: 45 Minutes
Starting pay is $16.00 an hour
Weekly Pay

The hours will change once they have a large project and you will get about 10 hours of Overtime per week. Work until 6 PM and Saturdays 8 AM - 2 PM.
