    Atlantic Staffing Consultants specializes in helping candidates find job opportunities in the logistics, manufacturing, construction, administrative, and customer service industries.     We seek a Service Dispatch Coordinator for our client in Raleigh, NC. This is a temp-to-hire position with weekly pay while employed with Atlantic Staffing Consultants.

    Typical Day-to-day duties of the Service Dispatch Coordinator:

    1. Receive service calls and dispatch technicians.

    2. Enter daily time cards and write up weekly time cards on Monday.

    3. Assist in pricing labor and materials for billings. Utilize the dispatch board throughout the day.

    4. Create purchase orders (authorized by the Service Manager) and process receiving reports for approval and payment.

    5. Assign technicians to work orders as issued.

    6. File service tickets, proposals, and contract data.

    7. Type correspondence and proposals.

    8. Customer satisfaction follow-up.

    9. Process credit card information for payment.

    10. Backup for each other. We have no switchboard operator.

    11. Reserve equipment for jobs.

    12. Maintained job data sheets and service tickets for contract files.

    13. Call location service when digging near utilities.

    14. Set up maintenance contracts and schedules.

    15. Obtain permits when necessary to do the job and call in inspections.

    16. Customer concerns and assists in collections.

    17. Assume additional responsibilities as directed by the department manager.

    18. Put together on-call technicians.

    Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.

    • Valid NC Driver's License with a clean driving record.

    Preferred skill knowledge and qualifications for a Service Dispatch Coordinator:

    • 1-2 years of business or technical school or the equivalent combination of training and experience

    • Dispatcher: 1 year

    • Punctual and reliable

    • Diverse skill set, helpful demeanor, and strong work ethic

    • Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, and people skills

    • Strong computer skills – experience with Microsoft Outlook

    • Customer Friendly Attitude

    • Experience scheduling HVAC, plumbing, and electrical service calls

    • Purchase order entry experience

    • Sage 100 contractor experience

    Physical Requirements for the Service Dispatch Coordinator position:

    Must be able to read printed material and the computer screen; use the computer for long periods; and move and lift supplies (computer paper, etc.) to 35-40 pounds.

    Pay Rate: $15.00-$21.00/per hour, DOE - Weekly pay while employed with Atlantic Staffing Consultants

    Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (In person only - No Remote)
