Weekly Pay & Overtime

* This is an entry level position.
* We do all the promoting from within!!
* Regular Full Time JOB!
* We are looking for long term employees for our client who want to move up, learn and grown with this company.

Duties of a Recycling Sorter:
• Sort and segregate recoverable materials (e.g., aluminum, plastic, paper, etc.) from incoming material.
• Deposit recoverable items safely and efficiently into appropriate chutes.
• Assist other sorters on an as-needed basis with heavy or bulky items.
• Follow all Company safety policies and procedures, including stopping the conveyor belt in emergency situations.
• Inspect incoming loads for unacceptable material; remove unacceptable items as required.
• Clean recycling area by sweeping, raking, picking up broken glass and loose paper debris, or moving barrels, can and bins.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements of a Recycling Sorter:
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bend, twist, reach, etc.
• Must be able to work in potentially cold or warm environments.
• Steel Toe Work Boots are required.
• Must be able to lift 25lbs
• Must be able to work over 40+ hours per week – Overtime is required.
• Clean criminal background required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Strong work ethic and amazing attendance required

Hours, Pay & Shifts of a Recycling Sorter:
Mondays - Friday and some Saturdays
6 AM – 6 PM
20+ hours of overtime per week required
Starting pay is $9.00 an hour and the overtime pay is $13.50 an hour
