Atlantic Tool & Die is seeking a SUPPLY CHAIN SPECIALIST to join the organization. Interested candidates should have
Some job duties will include
Assist with managing Atlantic Tool & Die’s production purchasing operations including working with vendors as well as internal and external customers.
PURCHASING
· Identify, develop, and implement vendors for all direct materials and outside processing for North American manufacturing facilities in Texas and Ohio
· Actively plan and schedule delivery of steel and purchased parts for all North American locations
· Evaluate, develop, and implement vendors for MRO items for all North American locations.
· Analyze MRO purchases to insure department and plants are controlling costs.
· Coordinate all Supply Chain related NML( New Model Launch) activities
· Work with Supplier development team to process Supplier Scorecards, as well as develop and implement corrective actions for poor performing suppliers and proactively identify contingency plans for poor performing suppliers
· Manage Outside Process from NML, Pricing, Capacity, and Performance
· Work with NML to insure successful Product Launch
· Actively work on continuous improvement projects and cost downs to hit yearly savings goals
· Work with estimating to provide guidance on vendor quoting.
· Manage Outside Process Inventory (Quarterly)
· Conduct quarterly reviews of all costs with NML, Estimating and Sales in conjunction with the Materials Manager, and Global Supply Chain Manager.
· Maintain inventory for Plants to ensure that required materials are available when production is scheduled to begin through working with scheduler, and Materials Manager
· JIT and planning schedules for raw materials are being met
· Work with Plant inventory teams
· Support and implement yearly Strategic Supply Chain Plan for cost savings and continuous improvement in tandem with the Materials Manager, Global Supply Chain Manager, and executive management team
MATERIALS
· Monitor and analyze changes in customer demand patterns to notify Production Control of short and long term changes in demand pattern
· Coordinate outside process vendor selection with NML and Corporate Purchasing to ensure flawless launch of new programs
