As we expand our operations, we are looking for a talented and experienced Drayage and LTL Logistics Specialist to join our team.

Job Description:

As a Drayage and LTL Logistics Specialist, you will play a key role in coordinating and optimizing the transportation of goods for our clients. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Drayage Coordination:

Plan and coordinate the movement of containers from ports to distribution centers or other specified locations.

Ensure timely and cost-effective drayage services while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

LTL Logistics:

Manage and optimize Less Than Truckload shipments, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing transportation costs.

Collaborate with carriers to negotiate rates and secure capacity for LTL shipments.

Communication and Collaboration:

Liaise with internal teams, clients, and carriers to ensure smooth logistics operations.

Provide regular updates on shipment status and resolve any issues that may arise during transit.

Documentation and Compliance:

Ensure accurate and timely completion of all necessary shipping documentation.

Stay abreast of industry regulations and compliance standards to ensure adherence.

Problem Resolution:

Proactively identify and address any logistics challenges, finding effective solutions to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in drayage and LTL logistics.

Strong understanding of transportation and supply chain management.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Proficient in logistics software and tools.

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
