    Are you an enthusiastic, analytical, and driven psychologist? We are looking to hire an associate to mainly conduct criminal forensic mental health evaluations with referral questions such as competency to stand trial, criminal responsibility, risk assessment, sexual violence risk assessment, and sentencing. Compensation is competitive and additional benefits include working/living in Atlanta, peer consultation with talented colleagues, and completing evaluations that address a variety of referral questions. The position is open to early career psychologists and those with more experience, although at least two years of forensic evaluation services is preferred. The pay range below is only an estimate and the actual pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, relevant experience, business needs, and market demands. Responsibilities: Establish treatment plans and therapeutic procedures, as well as track client progress via regular interactions or sessions Diagnose problems by identifying psychological, emotional, behavioral, or organizational concerns Provide referral services to outside therapists, clinics, and treatment facilities Analyze and identify behavioral or emotional patterns that can assist patients in better understanding and predicting behavior Perform behavioral and cognitive research through watching, interviewing, and surveying individuals • Consistently conduct comprehensive forensic psychological evaluations, approximately 3-5 comprehensive evaluations per month • Communicate clearly and effectively with evaluees, attorneys, and judges • Write thorough forensic evaluation reports demonstrating thoughtful analysis • Testify in court • Accurately record and track evaluation progress • Maintain a light clinical caseload • Participation in internal consultation meetings would be encouraged Qualifications: Must have a current state license to practice in the state you practice from the ASPPB (Association of State and Provincial Licensing Boards) Successful candidates will need strong analytical, communication, and observational skills 1-3 years of supervised experience under a licensed psychologist is required We require a master’s degree and a Doctorate of Psychology (PhD, EdD, PsyD) This position requires passage of the EPPP (Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology) • Doctorate degree in Psychology (Ph.D., PsyD) • Specialized forensic psychology training in forensic settings through a graduate and/or postdoctoral program. • 1-3 years of supervised experience in a forensic setting (practicum, predoctoral internship, postdoctoral fellowship) • Licensed or license-eligible to practice psychology in Georgia; license must be in good standing • At least two years of relevant professional (post-licensure) experience is preferred THE INDIVIDUAL WE ARE SEEKING MUST POSSESS AND DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING CRITICAL SUCCESS CHARACTERISTICS: • Utmost integrity and honesty • Thoughtful and detail-oriented in approach and analyses • Excellent and clear writing skills • Highly motivated and energized by challenges • Strong communication skills and an active listener • Professional, friendly, and positive • Inclusive, accepting, and unbiased  IN THE LETTER OF INTEREST, PLEASE ADDRESS ALL OF THE FOLLOWING: 1) YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH COMPETENCY, SANITY, RISK, PSYCHOSEXUAL, AND SENTENCING EVALUATIONS, 2) YOUR EXPERIENCE IN WORKING IN PRIVATE PRACTICE, AND 3) YOUR INTEREST IN AND FIT WITH OUR PRACTICE.  Compensation: $96,000 - $109,000 yearly
