    Job Description

    ATLAS SIGN INDUSTRIES is looking for a high energy, experienced PROJECT COORDINATOR to join our fast growing team!

    As a PROJECT COORDINATOR, some of the job duties performed will include:

    • Obtains site surveys, elevation drawings, site plans, landlord sign criteria, code information, and all necessary documents needed to requisition a sign drawing for customer approval
    • Secures sign drawing and forwards to Project Manager or Account Manager for review
    • Obtains landlord approval and necessary documentation for permit submittal
    • Receives customer approved drawing and contract or purchase order from Manager
    • Enters sales order into database
    • Creates job order for manufacturing and installation of signage project
    • Responsible for tracking the progress of all orders and communicating status of those orders to the Project Manager and Account Manager through verbal and written status reports
    • Coordinates shipping and installation of product with on-site superintendent and/or construction management
    • Ensures completion of job and communicates complete status to Project Manager and Account Manager
    • Provides completed job packet to Billing Coordinator
    • Attends and participates in meetings when requested
    • Maintains the files of all related documents
    • Fills in as support to other service and/or project coordinators when requested
    • Assists Director of Project Management in other tasks as assigned.

     

    Qualifications, requirements and education required for the PROJECT COORDINATOR position include:

    • Experience: 1-2 years
    • Sign Industry Experience Preferred but not required
    • Strong communication (written/verbal) and people skills
    • Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
