    We are seeking an individual that is eager to learn and grow in the IT field for our internship program. The primary purpose of our internship program is to develop individuals who want a career in the IT/MSP space to the point where they have the technical knowledge and skills required to be effective system engineers. This is accomplished through a combination of guiding the individual in the attainment of several industry-standard certifications, learning about common products that Atlas Technica supports and the technical standards we have established for these products, and more practical training through being given customer support tasks and guidance/mentorship by the Client Technology Manager (CTM) or Team Lead (TL) to whom they report. Successful participants in this program are expected to become Jr. System Engineers in 6-9 months and progress from there. The participants may be required to work on-site at client offices.  The participant may also be expected to work at an Atlas regional office if one is in your area.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Perform IT Support services to users onsite.
    • Use of a ticketing system to manage support queries.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • A strong desire to learn and grow in the IT/MSP space
    • Some experience with IT support (6 months to a year), or the A+ certification
    • Ability to deliver great customer service (communicating clearly, managing expectations, following up)
    • The candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job, which include but are not limited to, the following; must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs; stand/sit for extended periods of time; push/pull; climb stairs; stoop, kneel or crouch; use fingers/hands to handle or feel; reach above head or below knee level; and the ability to work around machinery and material handling equipment.

    DESIRABLE QUALITIES:

    • Familiarity with Managed Service Provider operations
    • Familiarity with Windows 10, Office 365
    • Experience with basic TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP
    • Experience with Windows Server 2016 or higher
    • Should be able to intuitively troubleshoot.
    • Have good problem solving skills.
