    CoreSource is seeking several Customer Service Representatives in our PSERS Department in the Lancaster, PA office. In this role, you will be responsible for working with providers, members, and clients to accurately respond to telephone and email inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, billing and claims status.  In this role, you will take a high volume of calls in a fast-paced environment. The focus of this role is exceeding customer’s expectations by providing exceptional service.    #GD

     

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    • Respond to inquiries from providers, members, and client on assigned group.
    • Utilize computer to obtain and document essential information and communications with caller.
    • Research problem inquiries and respond to caller.
    • Refer unresolved inquiries to the appropriate resources for additional assistance.
    • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

     

    EXPERIENCE:

    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
    • Previous experience in CoreSource Customer Service preferred
    • Previous telephonic customer service experience
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service driven industry
    • Strong data entry and keyboarding skills
    • Proficient computer experience in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
    • Medical or health insurance background preferred
    • Previous experience in a medical office preferred

    Required Skills Required Experience

  • Qualifications

    10+ years of experience in financial management, including tax. Deep knowledge of financial accounting and principles of internal control. Demonstrated expertise in the use of information technology to solve business and reporting problems; experience creating models. Extensive experience working with and leading teams. Strong relationship-building and communication skills. Strong analytic and problem solving skills. CPA or MBA with accounting focus. Higher education experience preferred.
