Our IT team is looking for an APPLICATION SUPPORT ANALYST. In this position you will be responsible for support and development of existing applications for internal and external customers. You will work with other development resources to create new solutions but also to support existing applications and troubleshoot issues. In addition you will be working with subject matter experts from the Business and IT.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience required
Required Technical Skills:
Understanding of Object Oriented principles
Java/.NET/C++
Minimum of 3+ years Microsoft SQL Server
UI Design
Understanding of multi-tiered software architectures for business applications.
Previous experience supporting and maintaining legacy applications developed by other people preferred
Previous experience upgrading version of software or platforms under minimum supervision preferred
Prefer someone who has insurance industry knowledge and experience preferred
Experience with SOAP services preferred
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies preferred
Experience with Maven, Jenkins, Nexus preferred
Experience with DOJO preferred
Experience with Struts preferred
Eclipse or Rational Application Developer (RAD) IDEs preferred
Possesses excellent interpersonal and communications skills both verbal and written, good presence, strong team player, encouraging, diplomatic and flexible with the ability to listen well, be persistent and patient in endeavoring to fully understand customer needs preferred
Ability to work independently and make good decisions consistent with divisional objectives and handle conflict with minimal oversight preferred
