    Job Description

Join Atlassian as an intern and spend your summer with us having a direct impact on how millions of users collaborate and use software. The most amazing thinkers—like NASA rocket scientists and Tesla engineers—are coming to us for solutions. We’re in the business of developing software to help teams everywhere get amazing ideas on the ground and into the world. Sound like an exciting place to start your career? Here you'll be encouraged to use your imagination and try new things.

This unique and “self-running” opportunity as a Product Management intern will give your career a head start with great support from a non-traditional entrepreneurial team and experience in steering the direction of our products. You will gain experience in: conducting customer and partner interviews that translate insight into action, reviewing tech specs for completeness and accuracy, researching and presenting competitive analysis and new market/product opportunities, among other projects.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to wear multiple hats while designing creative solutions to our customer's greatest challenges. We promise you'll never be bored!

Apply for our Summer 2018 intern program and start an awesome career!

    More about you

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

    • Passion for analyzing products, customer needs, and market dynamics
    • Interest in translating customer insights into actionable deliverables for our engineering teams
    • Interest in thinking from multiple perspectives, including our customers and development teams
    • Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to the program after the completion of the internship, graduating by June 2019
    • Be able to commit to a full-time (40hrs / week) internship between June 2018 - August 2018
    More about our team

You’ll be joining a team that is smart and very direct. We challenge each other constantly to improve our work, learn, and ask hard questions. We're dedicated to agile methodology and are big believers in ‘lean’ (which means we don’t do documentation for documentation's sake). We know the importance of validating assumptions about users and use various types of testing to determine whether we're right (or wrong). Our bottom line is improving our user’s experience—no matter what.
