    Job Description

    Atlassian is looking for a Product Marketing Intern to join our marketing team. You will closely with product management and cross-functional marketing teams to help drive our overall software teams go-to-market efforts. You will primarily work on our DevTools products - Bitbucket Server and Bamboo - and support our DevOps initiatives. From market and customer analysis, to product and solutions positioning, to copywriting, you'll learn from seasoned Product Marketers how Atlassian builds a go-to-market strategy. This is a 12 week full-time, paid internship for students who are interested in working in the technology space. If you're passionate about marketing, software, teams and adaptable to a fast-paced environment, this just might be the internship for you. 

    You will be responsible for:

    • Customer and market research: Perform market research on the adoption of Git and distributed version control.  
    • Long form content creation: Produce a white paper geared towards enterprise organizations looking to scale git.
    • Competitive analysis: Understand how our products compare with competitors and make updates to our positioning accordingly.
    • Product release readiness: Support and execute product launches.

    More about you:

    • Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business or Computer Science. 
    • Ability work to in fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
    • Proactive, self-starter with strong organizational skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication
    • A deep love for technology

    Extra credit award if you have:

    • An understanding of agile and DevOps practices 
    • An understanding of technologies like SVN, DVCS, CI / CD
