    Job Description

    Join Atlassian as an intern and spend your summer with us having a direct impact on how millions of users engage with Atlassian brand. We may be biased, but this is a amazingly rare opportunity for an intern to experience multiple roles, all while playing an instrumental part on the team. You'll split your time on two high-profile teams here at Atlassian: (1) Brand & Creative and (2) Customer Marketing. We're looking for a highly creative self-starter with a love of writing and a strong ability to research and synthesize - fast. 

    You'll be joining a group of designers, writers, strategists, and marketers to inform, develop, and execute against important creative campaigns for the Atlassian brand and product portfolio. You'll also play a critical part in educating Atlassians about the power of brand, helping our team run and improve interactive workshops. As a storyteller, you'll have the opportunity to research and write stories about the incredible things our customers are creating using Atlassian. 

    This is the kind of opportunity that doesn't come around often, especially since these two teams don't typically accept interns! You'll learn everything you need to know about a career in marketing, as well as have first-hand exposure to one of the few in-house creative teams in tech! 

    The ideal candidate is a solid, efficient researcher, an excellent writer, and prides themselves on being creative.

    On your first day, we'll expect you to:

    • Have foundational knowledge from your education in marketing or communications 
    • Be able to juggle multiple projects at the same time, prioritize tasks, and learn new skills quickly
    • Have excellent written and oral communication skills with some experience writing across a variety of formats and platforms for a variety of audiences.
    • Be highly self-motivated, curious, and passionate about focusing on the details
    • Be currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to the program after the completion of the internship, graduating by June 2019
    • Be able to commit to a full-time (40hrs / week) internship between June 2018 - August 2018
