    JOB DESCRIPTION

    You’ll be responsible for building and assisting engineers with designs for the XP Platform. You will be instrumental in helping engineer bring designs to life, building prototypes, fixtures, and the assembly of many different components throughout the XP Platform.     KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Support the build and development of prototype vehicles, XP Platforms, and XT Pickups

    • Work with engineers to create 3D and 2D Drawings for different components

    • Design fixturing for fabrication and assembly.

    • Support testing and maintenance of prototype vehicles

    • Diagnose and repair issues found within prototype vehicles.

    • Build and fabrication of mechanical parts.

    IDEALLY, YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH:

    • 3+ years' experience as a mechanical engineering tech or automotive technician.

    • Highly Skilled in CAD (Autodesk or Solidworks)

    • Welding Experience with Steel and Aluminum (Mig/Tig)

    • Plasma/Laser Cutting

    • Machine shop and Fabrication experience

    • Technician experience

    • Familiarity with data acquisition systems

    • Ability to write summary reports.

    • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

    • Ability to work independently and/or collaboratively as part of a team.

    • High School Diploma or GED required

    • Well Organized

    • Excellent communicator

    • Self-starter who is willing to get their hands dirty

    • Team player who is excited by rapid development cycles
