    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Atlis is seeking a technician to join our battery cell manufacturing team in Mesa, AZ.   This person will have a high degree of battery knowledge, and be comfortable and familiar with process associated with production of Lithium ion batteries.  The ideal candidate should have strong working knowledge of electochemistry;

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Able to manage cell production through product workflow through fixturing and adjustment from each formation phase through to the final qualification stage.
    • Operate control systems for monitoring of the stat of battery cells in the formation process.
    • Monitor and analyze data from battery formation process to determine trends and improvement opportunities.
    • Develop and document new process or procedural steps for different product configurations or types.

    IDEALLY, YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH:

    • Battery design principles, familiar with terminology and proper handling processes.
    • Safety protocols for handling of lithium ion battery cells.
    • Analytical computer software systems, with the ability to modify and manage as well as monitor/analyze data.
    • Low voltage wiring systems and electronic monitoring equipment, setting up and troubleshooting.

    AND YOU'RE SOMEONE WHO IS:

    • Technically focused education, college strongly preferred.
    • Detail oriented, ensuring accuracy in data analysis and presentation.
    • A clear communicator, with a high sense of willingness to learn and drive process improvements.
    • Motivated with high energy and a focus to overcome challenges and provide solutions.
