  SHIFTS DETAILS:

• 3RD SHIFT: 7:30PM-4:00AM (OVERTIME-6:00AM) INCLUDING FRIDAYS

 POSITION SUMMARY:

The Production Operator position is an entry-level team member responsible for assembling building material components. This dedicated team member performs one or more repetitive jobs on an assembly line under direct supervision Repetitively assembles window material components. Processes include insertion or positioning of materials, clamping, splicing, fitting parts, and use of both hand and power tools. Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices to prevent injury to self or co-workers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate manufacturing equipment and use hand tools as required.
• Assist with training co-workers.
• Perform other duties across the plant as needed as directed by supervision or management.
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed.
• Work in a safe manner and follow safe work practices and policies.
• Support and participate in Employee Engagement activities.
• Follow defined clean-up times.
• Participate in defining and improving standard work to improve quality windows for our customers.
• Assist and cover for other workers in different areas as needed.
• Identify problems; communicate issues.
• Support a respectful workplace.
• Follow and work to an established rate as defined by customer demand and Standardized Work.

Qualifications

• Dependability/punctuality.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Basic reading and math skills are preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 25-50 pounds.
• Perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and stand for long periods.
• Possess communication, teamwork, problem solving, and leadership skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Must be 18 years or older to apply.
