With offices located in Atlanta, GA and Rock Hill, SC (Charlotte area), Attaway Linville is an established and growing Certified Public Accounting & Tax Advisory firm with significant experience working with a diverse range of individual and entrepreneurial clients across 30+ states. Due to recent growth of the firm, there is an opportunity for a Tax Preparer to join a team of highly motivated staff in either the Atlanta, GA (Perimeter area) office or the Rock Hill, SC office. This firm offers tremendous room for growth and is seeking an experienced tax preparation professional to ensure clients’ needs are met in an ever-changing business environment. Flexible work arrangements (in-office or hybrid/work-from-home with quarterly travel) will be considered for the right individual.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide professional tax-return preparation and related services, with minimal supervision, to Attaway Linville clients
• Other duties as assigned – including IRS work, tax projections and accounting
• Infrequent (quarterly) travel to/from Atlanta or Rock Hill, SC offices

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Five to seven years’ progressive experience
• Experience with Thompson Reuters/Creative Solutions and Checkpoint preferred
• Experience in Tax Preparation for 1040, 1120, 1065 and multi state. Focus on business support for $2 – $5MM sized organizations and related shareholder 1040 returns
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving ability
• Self-starter with willingness to take ownership of client support process
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Team player with superior project management skills
• Proven track record of providing exemplary client support
• History of solving problems and asking for assistance when needed
