The Attorney will work amongst the firm’s Minneapolis, Saint Paul, Wayzata, & Stillwater offices in addition to enjoying remote work from their home. Responsibilities: Our ideal candidate has 2+ years’ experience in family law and has knowledge of Minnesota procedures. The candidate also has strong attention to detail and follow-up skills. Duties include but are not limited to: • Preparing motions, affidavits, legal arguments, testimony, and trial briefs • Conducting thorough hearing preparations • Consulting with clients to strategize on cases • Engaging in communication with opposing parties, courts, and relevant stakeholders • Conducting comprehensive research on case law to identify and apply pertinent judicial decisions, statutes, etc. • Investigating the facts surrounding a case • Reviewing and staying updated on new laws and regulations • Drafting substantive correspondence • Reviewing and approving documents crafted by paralegals Qualifications: Requirements: • 2+ years’ experience in family law • Admitted to Minnesota Bar • Expresses sensitivity to others – can make clients feel comfortable sharing personal information relating to their cases • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy • Open-minded and willing to learn • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written • Can quickly adapt to changing deadlines • Ability to manage many cases at one time • Technologically savvy • Extensive use of Microsoft Office products Compensation: $108,200 yearly
