Responsibilities: This position will be responsible for important work, including: • Drafting motions, affidavits, legal arguments, testimony, and trial briefs • Hearing preparation • Case consultation and strategizing with a client • Communicating with the opposing party, courts, and others • Performing case law research to identify and apply relevant judicial decisions, statutes, etc. • Investigating the facts of a case • Reviewing and monitoring new and updated laws and regulations • Crafting substantive correspondence • Editing and approving paralegal-crafted documents Qualifications: If the statements below appeal to you, then you may be our next Senior Family Law Attorney! • 10+ years experience in Minnesota family law • Admitted to Minnesota Bar and in great standing • Attention to detail and accuracy • Emotional Intelligence • Open-minded and willing to learn • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written • Technologically savvy • You smile when you answer the phone • You are an amazing scheduler with a sickening degree of attention to detail • You are very good with calendars, e-mail, spreadsheets, word processing, and the internet • Your middle name is “No Drama” • You are an awesome juggler of tasks and can change gears quickly - You do not think scanning and copying are “beneath you” Compensation: $145,000+ yearly
