Atticus Catering Assistant

Job Summary

As a Atticus Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for the execution and completion of Atticus Catering orders. You will be working closely with the Catering Manager and will assist them on a daily basis. This entails preparing packaging, boxing up orders, delivery, and setting up catering orders off site. You are expected to be enthusiastic and professional representative of Atticus on and off site.

Essential Functions

- Prepare packaging and pack food at Atticus ahead of scheduled catering orders.

- Work with Atticus Management and kitchen team to successfully package food and depart on time.

- Deliver orders in a safe and timely manner

- Strategically load and deliver orders for a maximum efficiency and timeliness

- Provide friendly guest service and the highest level of hospitality

- Communicate effectively and responsibly with the Atticus Management Team concerning any delivery issue such as timeliness, delivery challenges, and unforeseen challenges that may delay the execution of the order

- Product Knowledge – learn and stay current with products sold and made by Atticus including – beverages, bread, pastry, and prepared foods.

Requirement for the position

- Reliable clean vehicle in good repair with current registration and insurance.

- Valid driver's license (must maintain on person at all times)

- Safe driving with a strong and safe driving record.

- Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures

- Follow all rules, policies, procedures and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook

- Able to lift up to 50 pounds

Position is part-time with flexible schedule.

- Eligible applicants must have morning and early afternoon availability.

- $17/hr for this position plus tips.

- Reporting to Catering Manager and Atticus Leadership Team.
