Position DetailsTitle: Contract Attorney, Mid/Senior-Level • Reports to: Founder & Principal Attorney, Nina Ameri • Location: Fully remote, but the offices are in both Beverly Hills and Irvine. • Hourly Rate: $100 per hour Responsibilities: Ameri Law Projects include but are not limited to: • Production Legal for Film, Television, and New Media projects • Drafting and negotiating • Shopping and option agreements • Collaboration and attachment agreements • Co-production agreements • Production contracts and releases (talent, participant, guest appearances, sync licenses, vendor agreements) • Content licenses • Sales and distribution agreements • Production services agreements • Life rights agreements • Digital Media influencer and brand agreements • Clearing and filing trademarks and copyrights • Cease and desist letters • Demand letters • Music licensing • Book publishing agreements • Formation of single-purpose entities for independent films • Formation of loan-out corporations • Fair use and clearance letters Qualifications: Minimum RequirementsExperience: 7+ years (ideally more than 10) as an entertainment attorney at an entertainment law firm, network, studio, distributor, or production company • Skills: Strong issue-spotting instincts and negotiation skills. Ability to draft agreements with precision and attention to detail • Licensing: Active California Bar License • Education: Strong academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school • Values: Alignment with Ameri Law PC’s mission to support creatives and protect intellectual property, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion Compensation: $100 hourly
