Responsibilities: • Advise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action • Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies • Take responsibility for administrative staff relating to client invoicing/billing records, setting up meetings with clients and completing tasks • Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions • Draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs Qualifications: • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working in a law firm environment • Required Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school; representation of clients for at least 2 years a plus • Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis) • Public speaking, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role • Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision • Graduation from law school with Juris Doctorate (JD) and experience in representing clients for at least 5 years preferred. Will consider less experience, salary to be adjusted per experience. • Part-time will be considered as an option for the right candidate. Compensation: $100,000 - $140,000 yearly
