About the Role
As a Contract Litigation Attorney, you will manage real estate and housing-related civil litigation from inception through resolution. The role provides immediate responsibility, diverse case exposure, and the potential to transition into a full-time or temp-to-perm position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle real estate, construction, and housing litigation matters
- Draft pleadings, discovery, and motions for state and federal courts
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases
- Communicate directly with clients and maintain accurate reporting
Ideal Candidate
- Licensed California attorney in good standing
- 2–5 years of civil litigation experience
- Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
- Background in real estate, construction, or housing law preferred
- Self-starter who thrives with autonomy and accountability
