Position Overview

An opportunity is available for a Litigation Associate to join a Complex Commercial Litigation practice in Irvine, California. This role is ideal for a mid-level to senior associate with at least four years of experience managing sophisticated litigation matters, including contract disputes and business torts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complex commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution

• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal briefs

• Handle all phases of discovery

• Conduct and defend depositions

• Represent clients in court, hearings, and mediations

• Develop case strategy and perform legal research

• Collaborate with internal teams and maintain client relationships

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of commercial litigation experience

• Experience with contract disputes and business torts preferred

• Strong deposition and case management experience required

• Trial exposure preferred but not required for mid-level candidates

• JD from an accredited law school

• Active California Bar admission

• Strong analytical, writing, and advocacy skills

Compensation

• Base salary: $240,000 to $275,000

Bonus structure:

• ~ $50,000 at 1920 hours

• Additional ~ $50,000 at 2100 hours

• Total compensation potential up to approximately $340,000+

• Higher bonus tiers available for senior associates
