About the Role:

As a Construction Litigation Associate, you will work alongside a prominent partner whose book of business is continually expanding. You’ll play a pivotal role in handling complex construction matters—without the heavy focus on surety work—allowing you to hone your expertise in pure construction litigation. This is a high-visibility role with support, mentorship, and clear advancement built in.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft persuasive pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Oversee and manage multiple active cases with autonomy and efficiency
• Maintain strong, communicative relationships with clients and team members
• Collaborate with senior attorneys in trial preparation and strategic planning

Qualifications:

• 4–7 years of experience in Construction Litigation
• JD from an accredited law school
• Active and in good standing with the Illinois Bar
• Strong litigation background with proven analytical and writing skills
• Familiarity with ESI and tools such as Relativity is a plus
• Willingness to work in-office or remotely, depending on qualifications
