Our law firm is looking for an attorney who is ready to represent our existing client base. The ideal candidate will work closely with the firm’s clients, administrative staff, and senior partners. Responsibilities: • Identify client conflicts and determine case strategies with options for resolution • Preside over paralegals, administrative assistants in connection with keeping track of time records, reviewing client billing, setting up client meetings and completing client projects • Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome • Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs • Supervise administrative staff, paralegals, and law clerks Qualifications: • Strong knowledge of legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis products is required • Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must • Must be a member of your local bar association - active member preferred • Successful completion of accredited law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree with 2 years of related experience • Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision • Must be admitted to practice in the State of Kentucky. Additional states are not required, but it is a major bonus. Compensation: $150,000 - $250,000 yearly
