    Dennis P. Block and Associates is one of California's premier landlord-tenant law firms, specializing in aggressive litigation for landlords, including unlawful detainer actions. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional legal services in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Attorney to join our team. This is a focused litigation support role ideal for an attorney who thrives on research and writing. You will be at the core of our case-building process helping landlords protect their rights through well-argued motions and persuasive opposition work. Responsibilities: • Draft oppositions to motions to quash, demurrers, motions to strike, motions for summary judgment, applications for an order staying execution, or motions to set aside the judgment • Prepare affirmative motions, including motions for summary judgment, motions to compel further discovery, and motions for judgment on the pleadings • Conduct legal research and draft supporting memoranda • Collaborate with trial attorneys to support the ongoing litigation strategy Qualifications: • Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must • Active licensed attorney with the California State Bar • Litigation experience preferred • Strong legal research and writing skills • Experience in drafting legal documents and preparing motions • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school • California Bar admission • Experience in landlord-tenant law is a plus • Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 yearly
