    Team Lead – Single Plaintiff Employment Litigation

A well-established plaintiff-side employment law firm is seeking a Team Lead Attorney to guide its single-plaintiff litigation practice. This position blends high-level casework with team management, making it an ideal fit for an experienced litigator ready to take on a bigger impact role.

     

    About the Role

    As Team Lead, you will oversee a department dedicated exclusively to single-plaintiff employment cases, including claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour issues. You will:

    • Direct the full case lifecycle from intake through resolution
    • Provide hands-on supervision of attorneys and legal staff
    • Develop litigation strategy, oversee discovery, and guide trial preparation
    • Lead settlement negotiations and mediations
    • Mentor and train junior attorneys to strengthen advocacy skills
    • Collaborate with leadership to enhance efficiency and drive firm growth
    • This position is designed for an attorney who enjoys both litigation and leadership, with the opportunity to influence strategy, outcomes, and team culture.

     

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Salary: Starting at $175,000 (DOE)

    Ideal Candidate

    • Licensed California attorney in good standing
    • Background in plaintiff-side single-plaintiff employment litigation
    • Strong experience with case strategy, motions, discovery, settlement, and trial preparation
    • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage a litigation team
    • Results-oriented and proactive approach to case management
