Mission Recruiting is partnering with a Southern California plaintiff-side law firm to identify an Employment Litigation Associate Attorney seeking meaningful courtroom experience and hands-on litigation responsibility.
This role offers immediate exposure to depositions, motion practice, court appearances, and trial preparation while working alongside experienced litigators committed to mentorship and professional development.
What You’ll Do
- Manage employment litigation matters from intake through resolution
- Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial materials
- Take and defend depositions
- Appear in court and argue motions
- Support mediation, arbitration, and settlement efforts
- Assist with trial preparation and second-chair responsibilities
Qualifications
- Active California Bar membership
- At least 1 year of civil litigation experience
- Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills
- Ability to work independently within a collaborative environment
- Employment law experience preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $130,000–$180,000+
