Our client is a highly regarded plaintiff-side employment law firm seeking a Senior Employment Attorney to join its growing practice. This is an opportunity for an experienced litigator to step into a meaningful, high-impact role with substantial autonomy, strong institutional support, and a sustainable workload.

    The Opportunity

You will handle complex employment matters from inception through resolution, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage-and-hour claims. The firm prioritizes strategic litigation, thoughtful advocacy, and professional excellence, volume-driven practices in favor of well-managed, high-quality cases.

Senior attorneys are trusted with ownership of their matters while benefiting from a collaborative environment that includes skilled support staff, experienced colleagues, and streamlined internal systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage and litigate employment cases through discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediation, and trial as appropriate
    • Serve as lead or senior counsel on complex matters
    • Draft and argue dispositive and procedural motions
    • Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
    • Work directly with clients, providing strategic guidance and clear communication
    • Mentor junior attorneys as needed

    Ideal Candidate Profile

    • 7+ years of employment law litigation experience (plaintiff-side strongly preferred)
    • Demonstrated experience handling cases independently
    • Strong deposition, motion, and negotiation skills
    • Trial experience is valued but not required
    • Active California Bar membership in good standing
    • Professional judgment, intellectual rigor, and a client-centered mindset

    Why This Role Stands Out

    • Autonomy with support: Senior attorneys are empowered, not micromanaged
    • Quality over quantity: Manageable caseloads that allow for excellent lawyering
    • Flexibility: Remote or hybrid options available (California-based practice)
    • Stability and growth: A well-established firm with a strong pipeline of cases
    • Competitive compensation: $180,000 Base salary plus performance-based incentives

If you are a seasoned employment attorney looking for a role that values your experience, respects your time, and allows you to focus on meaningful advocacy, this position offers a compelling next step.
