Responsibilities: • Collaborate with and oversee legal staff while driving cases forward. • Ensuring proper case setup and strategic direction from intake. • Oversee, review, and finalize legal documents, including demands, pleadings, and other correspondence. • Drive cases forward in litigation, take depositions, and prepare cases for trial. • Engage and work directly with expert witnesses. • Communicate directly with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel to advocate for client interests, advance case strategy, and resolve cases when appropriate. • Conduct legal and factual investigations to develop liability theories and support damages claims. • Lead settlement negotiations with insurance carriers and opposing counsel, strategically advocating to secure great outcomes for clients based on liability, damages, and coverage. Qualifications: • Member in good standing with the South Carolina Bar Association. • Possesses good judgment and strong critical thinking skills. • Working knowledge of South Carolina auto insurance law. • Ability to manage cases independently from intake through resolution. • Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and respect in client, team, and case-related interactions. Compensation: $100,000 yearly
