A litigation practice focused on healthcare disputes is seeking an associate attorney to join its team in a fully remote capacity. This role involves handling complex business disputes between healthcare entities, with a strong emphasis on data analysis and discovery.
The position offers a structured mentorship environment, where attorneys receive direct feedback and ongoing development support from experienced team members. The role is designed for individuals who are comfortable working independently while also engaging in a collaborative, feedback-driven setting.
The position is suited for attorneys who can manage a high-volume docket and maintain consistent performance in a fully remote environment.
Responsibilities:
- Handle contract disputes, provider litigation, and overpayment recovery
- Conduct detailed claims analysis across large datasets
- Draft motions to compel and dismiss
- Manage discovery and case development
- Maintain a large active caseload
- Prepare matters for arbitration
Candidate Requirements:
- 1–7 years of experience
- Active California Bar license in good standing
- Strong professional judgment and work ethic
- Demonstrated interest in healthcare law, if lacking litigation experience
- Defense-side experience preferred
Compensation:
- Base salary: $125,000 – $180,000+ DOE
- Billable bonus: $10,000 at 2,000 hours, plus $10,000 per additional 100 hours
