As part of this collaborative group, you’ll manage a diverse docket of New York insurance defense matters from inception through resolution. The ideal candidate is confident in the courtroom, comfortable interacting with clients, and eager to deliver strategic results with efficiency and independence.

What You’ll Do

• Handle approximately 50 active insurance defense files, managing each case from start to finish
• Engage directly with clients, carriers, and co-counsel on litigation strategy
• Prepare pleadings, conduct depositions, attend court appearances, and drive cases toward resolution
• Collaborate with colleagues who value initiative, professionalism, and trial readiness

What You Bring

• Active New York Bar membership (New Jersey Bar strongly preferred or willingness to obtain)
• Strong background in insurance defense litigation
• Demonstrated trial preparation and courtroom experience
• Self-sufficient work style with excellent organizational and case management skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $120,000 – $150,000

Bonuses:

• Year-end discretionary bonus
• Additional monthly bonus opportunity based on billable performance
