** Overview**

We are seeking an Attorney to join our growing, commercial practice law firm. Our firm represents individuals and businesses across a broad range of matters, including real estate, business transactions, commercial litigation and employment law. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, detail-oriented attorney who is comfortable handling matters independently while working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. We are searching for a candidate who is willing to work hard and expects to be compensated accordingly.

** Responsibilities**

• Advise and represent clients in matters involving real estate, business law, commercial litigation and employment law
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, pleadings and other legal instruments
• Manage files from initial consultation through resolution
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda and client correspondence
• Appear in court, mediations, hearings, and closings as required
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties
• Maintain compliance with applicable laws, court rules, and ethical obligations

** Qualifications**

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited, highly regarded law school
• Strong academic performance
• Licensed and in good standing with the Indiana and Illinois Bar. Reciprocity can be obtained after employment begins.
• Relevant experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines
• Professional demeanor with a strong client-service focus
