    Job Description: Associate Attorney (Landlord/Tenant) - New Jersey (NY Bar admission a plus)

    Responsibilities:

    • Handle a caseload of Landlord/Tenant matters, including lease drafting and negotiation, eviction proceedings, lease violations, and tenant disputes.
    • Conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and provide sound legal advice to clients.
    • Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations.
    • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex cases and legal strategies.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, documentation, and billing records.
    • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends in Landlord/Tenant law.

    Requirements:

    • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
    • Active license to practice law in the state of New Jersey.
    • Minimum of one year of experience in Landlord/Tenant law, including drafting leases, eviction proceedings, and tenant disputes.
    • Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
    • Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation skills.
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Proficient in legal research tools and technology.
    • NY Bar admission is a plus but not required.
