    • Meaningful Advocacy: You will represent the unions and individuals who keep our communities safe, handling complex employment matters and civil rights defense.
    • Pure Litigation: Because these matters often involve government entities, you are more likely to see cases through to a decision rather than a quiet settlement.
    • Early Ownership: Whether you are a first-year or a tenured senior, you’ll be trusted with drafting appellate filings, arguing motions, and participating in bench trials and administrative hearings.

     

    The Reality of the Role

    • The Writing: A strong writing sample is a non-negotiable requirement. We are looking for independent analytical depth and "Law and Motion" expertise.
    • The Schedule: This is a hybrid-friendly role based in Encino. Once trust is established and your initial training is complete, the firm offers the flexibility modern attorneys need.
    • The Commitment: 1,800 annual billable hours.
    • The Compensation: Scaled by experience ($115k–$125k for entry-level; $150k+ for mid-level; up to $200k for seniors) plus a tiered bonus structure.
