You will be at the core of our case-building process — helping landlords protect their rights through well-argued motions and persuasive opposition work. Responsibilities: • Draft oppositions to motions to quash, demurrers, motions to strike, motions for summary judgment, applications for order staying execution or motions to set aside the judgment. • Prepare affirmative motions including motions for summary judgment, motions to compel further discovery, and motions for judgment on the pleadings. • Conduct legal research and draft supporting memoranda. • Collaborate with trial attorneys to support ongoing litigation strategy. Qualifications: • Strong legal research and writing skills • Experience in drafting legal documents and preparing motions • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school • California Bar admission • Experience in landlord-tenant law is a plus • Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compensation: 100,000-140,000
