Prominent plaintiff medical malpractice firm with a statewide practice is seeking an attorney with 3 years of personal injury experience. Key Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of medical malpractice cases from intake through resolution.

• Conduct legal research, case analysis, and develop legal strategies.

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.

• Take and defend depositions of parties, experts, and witnesses.

• Prepare clients and expert witnesses for testimony.

• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.

• Work closely with paralegals, support staff, and other attorneys.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and case precedents.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.

• Active license to practice law in State of California

• 3 years of litigation experience, preferably in medical malpractice or personal injury.

• Proven trial and/or settlement negotiation experience preferred.

• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare standards.

• Experience working with expert witnesses.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
