High-stakes litigation. Real impact. Compensation that reflects the responsibility.
Mission Recruiting represents a nationally respected plaintiff-side trial practice that goes toe-to-toe with powerful defendants and wins. This team is expanding its Mass Tort and Environmental group and is seeking an Associate Attorney who wants meaningful responsibility, sophisticated work, and the resources to litigate at the highest level.
This role is not about churning hours or staying in a narrow lane. It is about judgment, writing, and strategy. Attorneys here are trusted with complex matters early and are expected to think critically, write persuasively, and move cases forward with purpose.
The Opportunity
You will work on large-scale, high-impact litigation involving environmental exposure, toxic torts, and complex multi-party actions. Matters are handled from inception through resolution, with associates deeply involved in shaping strategy and building cases alongside experienced trial lawyers.
The practice operates without billable hour requirements. Productivity is measured by efficiency, quality of work, and contribution to case outcomes, not time spent.
What You Will Do
What This Team Values
Trial exposure, mentoring experience, or a background in mass tort, environmental, or toxic tort litigation is a plus, but the strongest candidates are defined by substance and writing ability rather than a rigid checklist.
Compensation and Benefits
Location Flexibility
The position is based in Southern California, with offices in Los Angeles and the Antelope Valley. Candidates can start in either location, with flexibility over time. For those considering the Antelope Valley, the area offers more space, easier commutes, and access to outdoor recreation, while still being within reach of Greater Los Angeles.
Why This Role Stands Out
Mission Recruiting is proud to partner with this client on a highly prioritized search. The firm is engaged, decisive, and serious about bringing on a high-caliber attorney who will make an immediate and lasting impact.
